Q. I found your website. Could I find this or any other large indoor/outdoor menorah elsewhere on the web at a better price?
A. No, we are the sole manufacturer. Everyone else buys them from us.

Q. Is the base included in the price of the menorah?
A. No. We need to determine whether your menorah will be for indoor or outdoor use. If your menorah will be indoors you need the indoor base, if outdoors you need the in ground insert.

Q. Can I use the indoor base outside?
A. Technically yes, but we don’t recommend it. The indoor base has 4 industrial strength suction cups which adhere well to an indoor floor. It will hold the menorah outside, but with strong winds (or vandalism) it could be pushed over. Not so with the in ground base.

Q. Is it difficult to install the in ground base?
A. No, if you are not handy, a maintenance person with the right tool can easily install the in ground base in minutes. The hole is only 3 inches around and 2 and a half ft. deep. A cap is provided, so that once the holiday is over, you place the cap over the hole until next year. It's an easy, clean concept. The menorah looks like it's coming right out of the ground and is sturdy and safe.

Q. Once I have the menorah and appropriate base, do I need anything else?
A. There are 2 optional accessories: 1. light bulbs. 2. Candle conversion kits.

Q. Do I need to use your bulbs?
A. No. The socket is a pigtail socket. Any regular bulb will do. However the 6 inch chimney shaped bulb is so attractive and so bright and weatherproof we highly recommend it, for sure for outdoor use and in cold climate. Even for any indoor use it makes sense, because it looks great with the large menorahs.
The bulbs are good for 1500 hours. If you use them for Hanukkah only, they will last very many years. Again, although you can use any bulb, we think it would be a mistake to use anything less than this. That's why we provide them.

Q. What are the candle conversion kits?
A. If you host a holiday celebration and you would like to be able to say the appropriate blessings at the lighting, you will need to light with fire. The kit is an attractive brass chimney holder which holds a paraffin container in a glass chimney. The kit is attached to a base which screws into the socket like a bulb. It's easy and looks great!

Q. Can you use the candle conversion kit outdoors?
A. Yes. Unless you're dealing with a storm of high winds, it will work well and glow beautifully in the dark.

Q. Can I use the 3 ft. menorah outdoors?
A. No, the 3' menorah is the only menorah not made for outdoor use.

Q. For which venue would you recommend each menorah?
Good question! Here are the recommendations:
3'-Indoor use for a store window or counter top. It is too small to stand on the floor.
6'-Indoors in a smaller lobby e.g. student center, office , hospital, bank lobby ie. a contained space with a regular ceiling. Outdoors in front of a private home or if you desire a smaller presence.
9' & 12' -Indoors in malls, large stores or government buildings with high ceilings-outdoors anywhere.

Q. Are the menorahs heavy and what are their wing spans?
A. 3 foot 16 lbs. span is 3 feet
B. 6 foot 26 lbs. span is 4 1/2 feet
C. 9 foot 30 lbs. span is 5 1/2 feet
D. 12 foot 40lbs. span is 8 feet

Q. How do you ship? Are they easy to store? Is it difficult to assemble?
A. The arms detach for easy shipping and storage. You simply plug the arms into the main stem and slide them on. The setup takes a few minutes.
You plug the menorah in and you are set. It couldn't be easier.

Q. Do I have to climb on a chair or ladder to light each bulb?
A. No, there are 9 separate switches built into the main stem. Simply press one switch for each night.

Q. Does the menorah rust? Does it weather well?
A. The menorah is made of anodized aluminum. It does not rust and looks beautiful after years of use even outdoors in harsh weather.
